Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Social Marketing to enhance our publishing efforts for an upcoming AAA title. Reporting directly to the Director of Digital Marketing, you will be instrumental in shaping the social marketing strategy, overseeing its execution, and managing resources throughout the game's lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for gaming and a profound understanding of social marketing dynamics.

Your responsibilities will include crafting and implementing tailored global social marketing strategies aimed at amplifying our brand's presence on social platforms, fostering cultural relevance, and nurturing our player communities.

Key Responsibilities

Social Marketing Leadership

  • Design and spearhead our social marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Act as the social marketing authority, collaborating with various teams to align efforts and manage project timelines effectively.
  • Generate and execute social marketing campaigns based on audience insights that resonate with our target demographics.
  • Establish and monitor social engagement metrics, providing ongoing analysis and insights into performance and community sentiment.
  • Drive creative brainstorming and content development for impactful campaign launches.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with cross-functional partners, including Brand Marketing and Community Management, to define and refine social marketing strategies.
  • Lead and develop the Social Marketing team, ensuring resources are aligned with our strategic goals.
  • Regularly engage with stakeholders to present social marketing strategies, findings, and recommendations that shape our marketing direction.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a leadership role within global social marketing for live service games.
  • Expertise in developing integrated social marketing strategies across multiple channels.
  • In-depth knowledge of community dynamics and social media platforms, particularly within the gaming sector.
  • Proficiency in social marketing tools and analytics, with a strong focus on delivering actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation abilities, with experience in creating compelling narratives to support strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrated team management and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • A decisive leader with the ability to navigate challenges and make informed decisions.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to pivot strategies as needed.
  • A keen sense of content quality and an understanding of effective social marketing techniques.
