Key Responsibilities- Crisis Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments of crisis situations to determine the level of care required and provide immediate intervention services as needed.
- Admission Screening and Procedures: Perform admission screenings and complete all necessary paperwork in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaboration with Treatment Teams: Present client information to interdisciplinary treatment teams and communicate behavioral interventions to Mental Health Technicians.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document all crisis situations and complete required paperwork in accordance with agency procedures.
- Linkage to Community Resources: Provide linkage to available community resources and support services to ensure continuity of care.
- Staff Meetings and Training: Attend staff meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay up-to-date on agency policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and community partners.
