Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team at Red Rock Behavioral Health Services. As a key member of our crisis response team, you will play a critical role in providing emergency support and intervention services to individuals in crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crisis Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments of crisis situations to determine the level of care required and provide immediate intervention services as needed.
  • Admission Screening and Procedures: Perform admission screenings and complete all necessary paperwork in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaboration with Treatment Teams: Present client information to interdisciplinary treatment teams and communicate behavioral interventions to Mental Health Technicians.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document all crisis situations and complete required paperwork in accordance with agency procedures.
  • Linkage to Community Resources: Provide linkage to available community resources and support services to ensure continuity of care.
  • Staff Meetings and Training: Attend staff meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay up-to-date on agency policies, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
