Role Overview

The Marketing Strategist plays a crucial role in delivering marketing communications and project management expertise to support integrated marketing initiatives on a global scale. This position will assess marketing opportunities utilizing digital capabilities and channels that align with business objectives and customer experience strategies.

The role will also involve developing and implementing processes, key performance indicators (KPIs), and best practices in digital marketing while collaborating across various business lines, sales, product development, and other functions to enhance customer awareness and engagement through all marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Management:

Understand and promote brand strategy while driving growth in brand equity, enabling ExxonMobil to maintain a competitive edge. Support the company and Low Carbon Solutions in managing the development and communication of its brand.


Marketing Communications:

Responsible for planning and executing integrated global campaigns that foster customer awareness and engagement through both digital and traditional channels. Drive integrated marketing communication plans that support purchasing funnel conversion and other KPIs.

Possess working knowledge of various marketing channels, including social media, websites, paid media, trade shows, webinars, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and press releases. Capable of preparing project briefs with clear goals and deliverables.

Collaborate across multiple functions, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to define and deliver relevant customer experiences for web, mobile, and social platforms. Manage agencies and third parties effectively, create compelling content, and maintain a project pipeline focused on linking business strategies to desired digital customer experiences.

Prioritize digital initiatives and enhance awareness of Low Carbon Solutions offerings while understanding KPIs of digital channels to measure and adjust campaign activities. Provide guidance and develop best practices on digital marketing, including paid media, search marketing, web design, social media, and email marketing.

Regularly assess the performance of digital initiatives and offer recommendations for improvement.

Project Management:

Develop comprehensive campaign plans, understand project stages and interdependencies, and meet schedule and budget requirements to increase customer engagement. Manage approvals for the release of company information from relevant departments.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Over 7 years of strong Marketing Communications experience, including a solid understanding of the customer journey and B2B marketing.
- Proficient in analyzing channel, content, and campaign data to achieve optimal engagement and performance.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; fluency in English is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade and motivate others within the organization.
- Highly organized and efficient, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in developing comprehensive communications plans, including budget recommendations.
- Familiarity with translating technical content into accessible communications materials.Preferred Qualifications

- Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a similar field.
