We are excited to partner with a global commodity trade shop in their search for a Quantitative Strategist to join their dynamic team. As a Quantitative Strategist, you will be responsible for developing pricing models, risk management tools, and quantitative structuring functions to support the firm's diverse business operations. Join us in contributing to the following key areas:

  • Developing, documenting, and testing a comprehensive pricing library
  • Engaging in pricing and structuring complex deals
  • Creating risk reports and pricing tools for various stakeholders
  • Collaborating with IT to enhance risk systems
  • Calibrating pricing models using market data
  • Computing credit exposures for transactions

Requirements:

  • 3-10 years of experience in commodity and energy markets
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Mathematical Finance
  • Proficiency in Python and an object-oriented language
  • Experience with pricing libraries
  • Ability to translate complex problems into practical solutions
  • Results-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Experience with gas storage models is a plus

Salary Range: $180,000 to $230,000 depending on experience.
