Key Responsibilities:

As the Marketing Manager, you will lead and execute a comprehensive Traditional & Digital Marketing Strategy.

Traditional Marketing Duties:
  • Overseeing and launching an ongoing postcard mailer initiative
  • Coordinating outdoor advertising campaigns with various vendors
  • Managing the development and execution of customer loyalty and referral initiatives
  • Identifying and procuring branded merchandise for clients
  • Representing the company at trade shows and conferences as necessary
Digital Marketing Responsibilities:
  • Engaging with comments and interactions on review platforms
  • Producing video content for social media channels
  • Maintaining the website by ensuring timely updates
  • Optimizing SEO for the website and integrated content platforms
  • Managing and executing pay-per-click advertising campaigns
  • Collaborating with social media partners to enhance content and engagement across targeted platforms

Additionally, you will coordinate with internal teams to launch a continuous E-newsletter campaign.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will manage, coordinate, and implement marketing and public relations strategies to boost awareness for a growing recycling firm expanding its business-to-business presence. You will spearhead in-house marketing and PR initiatives across various departments, focusing on target market strategies, editorial planning, storytelling through print and digital media, simple video production for newsletters and social media, and analytics tracking. We seek a proactive, energetic self-starter comfortable taking the initiative to promote our programs. This role may involve travel within the Houston area, and reliable transportation is required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are preferred.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience in a corporate or agency setting
  • 3-5 years of experience in executing traditional marketing and PR strategies
  • Ability to collaborate across teams to develop effective strategies and annual editorial calendars
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in brand management, email marketing, SEO, content marketing, digital advertising, video production, and social media marketing
  • Experience in content creation across various formats (email, social media, print, website)
  • Capability to analyze marketing activities and identify emerging trends
  • Familiarity with basic print design principles
  • Experience managing budgets with measurable ROI or A/B testing
