Position Overview:


The Branch Operations Manager will collaborate closely with the General Manager and the Branch Management Team, as well as Service Technicians, to effectively oversee the daily functions and management of the branch office. Utilizing advanced technology provided by the IT and Logistics Departments, this role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations.

The Branch Operations Manager is tasked with ensuring that the Branch Management Team collaborates seamlessly with Service Technicians to fulfill customer needs while adhering to all relevant OSHA, DOT, and LES regulations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial performance of the branch office, ensuring understanding of the P&L.
Assist the General Manager in maintaining budgetary constraints and guiding the branch towards achieving revenue and EBITIA targets each month.

  • Support the General Manager in preparing and reviewing financial reports with upper management and the Branch Management Team as needed (daily, weekly, and monthly).
  • Assist in generating and presenting client project estimates and service proposals as required.
  • Communicate project updates with the General Manager and the Branch Management Team regularly.


  • Collaborate with the Branch Management Team to conduct vehicle and equipment inspections as per the required schedule.
  • Ensure Service Technicians are in uniform and that vehicles are maintained to project a professional image.
  • Maintain an inventory of essential supplies and tools to minimize downtime while avoiding overstock situations.
  • Work closely with drivers to address vehicle and equipment issues.
  • Oversee the completion of daily, weekly, and monthly paperwork (e.g., logs, work orders, payroll, downtime reports).
  • Assist in managing an on-call policy, including scheduled coverage for nights and weekends.
  • Support the General Manager in fostering positive employee and customer relations, conflict resolution, and relationship building through ongoing communication.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and permitting requirements.
  • Monitor and provide performance feedback to the General Manager, Branch Management Team, and Service Technicians consistently.
  • In emergencies, take the lead in following established protocols when the General Manager is unavailable.
  • Participate in various special projects and compile requested reports.
  • Conform to all regulations, policies, and work procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with co-workers, management, clients, and vendors.
  • Actively train the Assistant General Manager in branch management operations and procedures.
  • Assist in the training and development of team members.
  • Demonstrate leadership and facilitation skills.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of OSHA, DOT, and CDL regulations.
  • Familiarity with LES work rules and various types of vehicles and equipment.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and multitask effectively.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Capability to manage a general business office and handle stress from multiple tasks.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
  • Bachelor's degree (Preferred).
  • Three (3+) years of experience in an assistant management role within a service-oriented business (Required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel (Required).
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks and Service Titan is a plus.
  • CDL license and driving experience are advantageous.

  • General office conditions.
  • Ability to manage stress associated with client interactions and project timelines.
  • Capability to perform light lifting and bending.
  • Ability to endure periods of sitting.
