Employer Branding Strategist

The Recruitment Marketing Specialist will be responsible for crafting and implementing strategies aimed at attracting exceptional talent to our organization. This position serves as a vital link between marketing and human resources, concentrating on employer branding, enhancing candidate experiences, and employing innovative recruitment techniques. Reporting directly to the VP of Talent Acquisition, you will collaborate with our Global Marketing team to elevate RWE Clean Energy's visibility among job seekers in the U.S. The ideal candidate will possess a robust marketing background coupled with a genuine enthusiasm for talent acquisition and employer branding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee employer branding initiatives to position the company as a preferred employer.
- Develop and curate content for the careers section of the company website, social media platforms, and other digital outlets.
- Work in conjunction with the marketing team to maintain brand consistency across all communication channels.
- Create compelling content, including email and advertisement campaigns that support job postings, as well as videos, infographics, and employee testimonials.
- Manage and refresh content across various recruitment platforms and social media channels.
- Plan and execute recruitment marketing campaigns utilizing social media, job boards, and other digital avenues.
- Evaluate and report on the success of recruitment marketing strategies using analytical tools.
- Enhance the candidate experience from application through to onboarding.
- Devise and implement strategies to boost candidate engagement and satisfaction.
- Organize and coordinate recruitment events such as job fairs, open houses, and campus recruitment initiatives.
- Represent the organization at external recruitment events and cultivate relationships with prospective candidates.
- Collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition team, HR, and hiring managers to identify staffing requirements and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment marketing and employer branding.
- Partner with Global Marketing on focused U.S. marketing campaigns.
- Travel may be necessary for recruitment events and conferences.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Human Resources, Communications, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in recruitment marketing, employer branding, or similar roles; five (5) years is preferred.
- Strong grasp of digital marketing principles and social media platforms.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to navigate through various approvals and challenges.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Proficient in marketing and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the capability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Experience in graphic design and video editing.
- Familiarity with SEO and content marketing strategies.
- Previous experience in corporate recruitment.
- Experience in the Renewables sector.
