Quality Assurance Director

Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Specialist will oversee systems of quality assurance and provide feedback to service delivery staff on areas of needed correction/improvement. This role will work collaboratively with supervisors and management staff to ensure the accuracy of client documentation and records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify the accuracy of client documentation, including intake documents, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and correspondence.
- Conduct reconciliation, document-specific reviews, and full chart reviews, and provide feedback on needed corrections, trends, and areas of needed training to the Director of Quality Assurance.
- Collaborate with service delivery staff, Clinical Program Managers, Director of Quality Assurance, and Director of Mental Health Services to ensure the exchange of necessary information relevant to contractual compliance.
- Participate in the Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) process, collect and prepare data, and present information to PQI meetings. Assist with the development of program objectives for the PQI Plan and provide information on progress towards stated objectives.
- Attend and participate in county provider and/or Quality Assurance meetings, and report information back to the Assistant Director and Director of Mental Health Services.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with inter and intra-agency staff, supervisors, representatives, and administrators.
- Demonstrate the ability to work professionally and independently with limited supervision, and exercise professional discretion and independent judgment.
- Communicate effectively through written reports, letters, trackers, plans, and emails, and initiate verbal communications with service delivery staff, supervisors, administrators, and inter and intra-agency personnel.
- Work collaboratively with inter and intra-agency personnel in a culturally competent manner, adhering to the philosophy, mission, and vision of Wayfinder Family Services.
- Maintain relevant licensure, education requirements, and current knowledge of client services, documentation requirements, best practices, coordination of care, risk assessment and planning, and intervention strategies through continued education and training.
