My client is a leading player in the food manufacturing industry, committed to producing high-quality products that delight our customers. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Quality to join our team and lead our quality assurance initiatives.

Job Description

Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures.Oversee all aspects of quality control and quality assurance in our manufacturing facilities.Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., FDA, USDA, ISO).Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and supply chain, to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure corrective actions are implemented.Analyze quality data and trends to drive decision-making and process improvements.Manage customer complaints and develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure our quality practices remain at the forefront.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree is required, preference in Engineering, Food Science, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3+ years at the Director level within the food industry.Must have multi-site experienceIn-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, FSMA, GFSI).Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Proven track record of driving quality improvements and achieving compliance in a manufacturing environment.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
