Director of Quality Assurance

Job Summary
The Director of Quality Assurance will lead and improve the plant's quality assurance, control, and management systems. This role ensures that all products meet established quality standards by developing and implementing quality management systems and managing the QA/QC team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee product quality and develop quality management strategies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Lead and mentor the QA/QC team, ensuring effective quality control and problem resolution to meet business objectives.
- Manage budgets related to quality initiatives and drive cost reductions through process improvements.
- Maintain and enhance customer and supplier relationships, addressing quality issues and supporting continuous improvement to meet business needs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards to protect the company's reputation and assets.
- Coordinate with other departments to meet quality objectives and manage internal and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred; significant experience in quality management within the industry is considered.
- At least 5 years of experience in quality management within DSJ Global or a similar organization.
- Deep knowledge of industry standards and quality improvement processes to drive business excellence.
- Strong technical background in material testing, inspection, and quality assurance to ensure product quality.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage cross-functional teams and drive business results.
