Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced pastry chef to join our team at Joo Ok Restaurant, a two-starred restaurant in Seoul recognized by the MICHELIN Guide. As a pastry cook, you will be responsible for preparing products according to recipe guidelines and production orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare high-quality pastries and desserts for our menu items.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to kitchen sanitation and cleanliness standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff and management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ year of experience as a pastry chef or cook in a 1-Michelin-starred restaurant.
  • Safety Certificate for Food Handlers (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours).
  • Proficiency in reading, speaking, and interpreting written English.
