Experienced Pastry Chef for a Michelin-Starred Restaurant

We are seeking an experienced pastry chef to join our team at Joo Ok Restaurant, a two-starred restaurant in Seoul recognized by the MICHELIN Guide. As a pastry cook, you will be responsible for preparing products according to recipe guidelines and production orders.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare high-quality pastries and desserts for our menu items.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to kitchen sanitation and cleanliness standards.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff and management to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 1+ year of experience as a pastry chef or cook in a 1-Michelin-starred restaurant.
- Safety Certificate for Food Handlers (preferred).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours).
- Proficiency in reading, speaking, and interpreting written English.

We offer a competitive salary of $50,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
