We are seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at Locanda Verde, a restaurant located in the heart of Hudson Yards.
About Us:
Locanda Verde is a premier Italian restaurant known for its authentic dishes and exceptional service. Our team has received widespread critical acclaim, recognition on numerous 'Best of' lists, a Michelin star, and two James Beard Foundation awards.
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Executive Pastry Chef to oversee the creation of our dessert menu, manage our pastry kitchen, and maintain the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and delicious dessert menus that complement our existing offerings
- Lead and manage our pastry kitchen team, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement new recipes and techniques to stay ahead of industry trends
- Maintain high-quality standards in all aspects of pastry production
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-end pastry kitchen
- Proven track record of creativity and innovation in dessert menu development
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
