Senior Director of Digital Transformation

The Group Benefits IT division is in search of a strategic technology leader to spearhead the enhancement of our Digital and Billing systems. This pivotal role is centered on improving both customer and employee interactions, alongside advancing our cloud delivery framework.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement the strategic roadmap for Digital, Billing, and Member Management systems within the Group Benefits framework.
  • Recognize potential challenges and risks, and develop proactive strategies for mitigation.
  • Leverage extensive technical expertise in Angular, Java, and AWS to ensure that features are architecturally sound and aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Drive cultural and delivery transformation, workforce strategies, and manage vendor relationships effectively.
  • Enhance DevSecOps practices, automate continuous delivery processes, and cultivate high-performing software engineering teams.
  • Provide guidance to delivery teams, mentor emerging talent, and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
  • Oversee budget management, support Agile estimation methods, and deliver quantifiable value.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Over 10 years of leadership experience in IT with a focus on large-scale program execution.
  • Proven expertise in organizational transformation and the development of cross-functional teams.
  • Strong foundation in technology, SAFE Agile methodologies, and modernization of legacy applications.
  • Experience in cloud solutions, reliability engineering, and alignment with business strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with business leaders and managing project outcomes.
  • In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile practices.
  • Effective management of vendor relationships and experience with offshore delivery.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strategic thinking capabilities.

COMPENSATION:

The competitive annual base salary reflects market analysis and may include additional rewards such as bonuses and incentives. The salary range for this position is:

$166,560 - $249,840
