About the Position

Caribou Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations: Develop and implement fair treatment procedures, provide guidance to managers and employees on grievance procedures and disciplinary action, and conduct employee surveys as needed.
  • Compensation Administration: Oversee and direct the organization's compensation programs, including job evaluation, salary design and structuring, wage surveys, and compliance with EEOC and wage and hour laws.
  • Benefit Administration: Develop and implement competitive benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, life insurance, employee assistance program, and 401(k) with employer match.
  • Recruitment: Develop and implement recruitment strategies, including advertising, recruitment, and the hiring process, to attract and retain top talent.
  • Department Management: Supervise and manage the Human Resources department, including training and orientation, employee relations, and performance evaluations.
  • Financial Oversight: Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts revenue and estimates expenses, and monitors monthly budget reports.
  • Performance Improvement: Identify opportunities for quality improvement, develop and implement plans of action, and monitor results.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in a Human Resources setting, with 3 years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Certifications: SHRM, HRCI, or other HR-related certification preferred.
