Key Responsibilities:- Talent Acquisition and Retention:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent aligned with the organization's values and objectives.

- Employee Engagement and Well-being:

- Conduct regular surveys and feedback mechanisms to gauge employee sentiment and identify areas for improvement.

- Policy Development and Compliance:
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures across the organization.
- Stay updated on HR best practices and legal requirements to mitigate risks and maintain compliance.
- A bachelor's degree in human resource management or related business degree, plus 2 years work experience in the HR or administrative field OR An Associate degree or equivalent in human resource management or related business degree plus 5 years work experience in HR or administrative field.
- Proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Deep understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate organizational goals into actionable HR initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Must be computer proficient and possess experience of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
