Job Title: Director of People Services

Location: Nationwide

Salary: $82,000 - $115,000 (depending on experience)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished Director of People Services to lead our Human Resources team at Premier Global Links. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, with deep expertise in co-worker relations, and a thorough understanding of HR laws and regulations. This role is essential in ensuring that HR strategies align with organizational goals while fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement HR Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs that support the organization's goals and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Manage Co-worker Relations: Manage all aspects of co-worker relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, advising management on HR best practices.
  • Oversee Recruitment and Onboarding: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Develop HR Metrics: Develop and maintain HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Strategic Partnership: Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing guidance on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Employee Benefits: Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • HR Information Systems: Oversee the administration of HR information systems (HRIS) and ensure accurate employee records are maintained.
  • Leadership and Direction: Provide leadership and direction to the HR team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge: Considerable knowledge of co-worker relations, including the principles, practices, and procedures of Human Resource Management.
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Business or Public Administration, Human Resource Management, or a closely related field.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of laws and regulations relating to Human Resources, including employment law, labor relations, and compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: SHRM Certified Professional (PHR) or Senior Professional (SPHR) certification is preferred.
  • Education: Masters degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role with a focus on co-worker relations and compliance.
  • Strong Understanding: Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory requirements.
