Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a highly qualified and experienced Maintenance Coordinator for a permanent role within our dynamic construction organization. In this pivotal position, you will be tasked with the planning and coordination of maintenance activities for our tools, equipment, and mechanical systems, ensuring peak efficiency and safety. This role demands a profound understanding of the construction sector, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and adeptness in managing intricate logistical challenges. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and a proven history of achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute maintenance strategies, protocols, and methodologies.
  • Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of tools, equipment, and mechanical systems to identify and rectify issues.
  • Organize and prioritize maintenance tasks based on urgency and available resources, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing projects.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to guarantee timely access to necessary parts and tools for maintenance operations.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on maintenance activities and equipment conditions to management.
  • Work alongside team members to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance operations.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain a safe, clean working environment.
  • Oversee inventory levels of supplies and equipment parts, initiating reorders as needed.
  • Provide training to maintenance personnel on new procedures and protocols to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Anticipate potential maintenance challenges through data analysis and predictive maintenance techniques.
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in maintenance planning within the construction field.
  • Technical expertise in construction tools, equipment, and mechanical maintenance.
  • Proficient in maintenance planning software and related applications.
  • Strong grasp of safety regulations and protocols in the construction industry.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for teamwork.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to train and mentor team members.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Professional certification in Maintenance Management or a related area is advantageous.
