Role Summary

The Marketing Department at Toyota is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Auto Show Coordinator. This role is pivotal in orchestrating auto shows nationwide, along with various industry and consumer events.

Reporting directly to the Auto Show & Special Events Manager, the individual in this position will play a crucial role in elevating the Toyota brand through the successful planning and execution of over 30 auto shows and consumer events each year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with internal teams (e.g., VMAC), Regional Vehicle Marketing, and Demand & Supply Managers, as well as external partners to ensure the seamless execution of auto shows and specialty events.
  • Develop essential documentation to streamline the coordination of auto shows, including travel arrangements for events and managing individual event budgets to ensure adherence to project scopes.
  • Oversee credentialing, hotel, and transportation logistics for major auto shows and events as required.
  • Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders to maximize the value of activations and align with strategic objectives.
  • Identify cost-effective opportunities for conducting auto shows and dealer events while enhancing the overall customer experience.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in event planning with a track record of delivering outstanding industry events.
  • Exceptional time management abilities.
  • Adept at thriving in dynamic environments and building interpersonal connections.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in experiential marketing activation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.

  • Experience in project management.
