Position Overview

Toyota's Marketing Department is in search of a driven and enthusiastic Automotive Events Analyst. This role is crucial for planning and executing auto shows nationwide, along with various industry and consumer events.

Reporting directly to the Auto Show & Special Events Manager, this position plays a vital role in enhancing the visibility and appeal of the Toyota brand by orchestrating over 30 auto shows and consumer events throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with internal teams (e.g., VMAC), Regional Vehicle Marketing, and Demand & Supply Managers, as well as external partners, to ensure the successful execution of auto shows and specialty events (such as Barrett-Jackson, NADA, SEMA) and dealer gatherings.
  • Prepare essential documentation to streamline the coordination of auto shows, including travel arrangements for executing events and managing individual event budgets to maintain project scope.
  • Oversee credentialing, hotel, and transportation requests for major auto shows and events as necessary.
  • Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders to maximize the value of activations and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Identify innovative opportunities to conduct auto show seasons and dealer events more cost-effectively while enhancing the customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in event planning with a track record of delivering exceptional industry events.
  • Strong time management skills are essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, utilizing interpersonal skills effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in experiential marketing activation is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
