Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Dental Receptionist to join our team at United Smile Centres. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor, creating a positive first impression of our practice.
  • Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality, and maintain up-to-date demographic information in our computerized patient information system.
  • Answer phone calls and emails, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process payments, manage cash handling, and maintain a balanced cash drawer at the end of each day.
  • Coordinate with dental assistants and hygienists to facilitate patient flow and ensure efficient use of time.
  • Assist with billing, coding, and other administrative tasks as needed, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in a dental office or similar healthcare setting preferred.
  • Proficiency in dental software and office management systems, with a strong understanding of patient confidentiality and privacy.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
