About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Office Accountant to join our team at Trilogy Health Services. As a key member of our Campus Accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining, analyzing, and verifying financial records, as well as preparing financial and statistical reports for a subset of assigned campuses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts monthly
  • Review financial statements for proper accounting treatment of revenue and expense items and provide thoughtful commentary over historical trends in financial performance as well as performance to budget
  • Engage with campus and home office leadership regarding monthly financial results, responding timely to inquiries and communicating items impacting financial results
  • Generate ad-hoc reporting and assist management with interpretation and analysis of such reports
  • Partner with campus and home office personnel on accounting-related issues
  • Participate in and contribute to process efficiency projects by bringing ideas to the team, taking on special projects (as needed), and having a solution-oriented mindset
  • Prepare audit schedules and other reports for internal and external auditors
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree
  • CPA or MBA preferred
  • Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus
