Job Summary

As a Security Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our facilities and personnel, while also supporting the development and implementation of our security policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all security aspects of the DRS Security Program, including physical security, proxy requirements, and security policies and procedures.
  • Implement, manage, and ensure compliance with DRS security policies, procedures, and directives.
  • Serve as primary advisor to the Site VP/GM, executive management, and senior leadership on all site-specific physical and proxy security compliance matters.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day security activities of implementing, overseeing, monitoring, auditing, and reporting on all security aspects of the facility to ensure 100% compliance within the scope of the National Industry Security Program (NISP).
  • Must have a working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operations Manual (NISPOM) and any other policies and directives as necessary by site.
Requirements
  • Must be a United States Citizen and have a current active Security Clearance.
  • 3 years of FSO-related experience with a Bachelor's Degree; an additional 3 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's requirement.
  • Must already hold or be able to obtain the ISP certification from NCMS within two years of accepting the position.
  • Working knowledge of National Industrial Security Program Operations Manual (NISPOM).
  • Able to develop and execute security policy, plans, and procedures.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with peers, customers, and site executives.
