Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Financial Management Consultant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will possess 1-3 years of experience in financial oversight, accounting practices, budgetary management, auditing, internal controls, and federal advisory services. While a secret clearance is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. This role will require close collaboration with clients to assess, devise, and execute effective financial strategies and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert financial management consulting services to federal clients.
  • Develop and oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial models to facilitate strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses and prepare detailed reports on financial performance.
  • Execute audits and evaluations of internal controls to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Identify and address financial risks through robust internal controls and risk management strategies.
  • Engage with clients to comprehend their financial requirements and create customized solutions.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring precision and compliance.
  • Support the deployment of financial management systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Remain informed about industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices in financial management and federal consulting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CGFM) is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial management, accounting, budget oversight, auditing, and internal controls.
  • Demonstrated experience in federal consulting, with a solid understanding of federal financial management regulations and practices.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining effective client relationships.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and tools, such as Excel, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Secret clearance is a desirable but not mandatory qualification.
