Position Overview
Reporting to the Director of Children and Family Services, the Senior Operations Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operational functions related to programs and sites that support unaccompanied immigrant children released from federal custody. This role offers the flexibility of remote work with occasional travel as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the VP, Directors, and Deputy Directors in proposal development, report preparation, and contract oversight.
  • Assist in budget creation, management, and adjustments.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data related to grants, budgets, and contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and federal regulations.
  • Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Engage with partners regarding contracts and financial matters.
  • Participate in agency-wide initiatives and strategic planning.
  • Contribute to the preparation of governmental reports.
  • Foster effective collaboration with partners and stakeholders involved in the care of unaccompanied migrant children.
  • Support the Deputy Director in coordinating major initiatives and information sharing.
  • Represent the organization at external meetings and trainings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in budget management.
  • At least three years of managerial experience with increasing responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and independently, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Experience in developing and managing partnerships for program proposals.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
  • Commitment to working in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Special Requirements
  • Must pass a criminal background check and child abuse and neglect checks.
  • Annual TB test and FBI fingerprint check every five years.
