Senior Vice President, Retirement Solutions

Overview:
The Retirement Solutions division within LPL Financial LLC's Wealth Management Solutions (WMS) group is dedicated to providing a competitive suite of retirement offerings tailored for advisors focused on plan management. This encompasses product strategy, pricing models, and marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing the advisor experience and fostering growth beyond conventional plan business.
Role Responsibilities:
This position entails comprehensive management of the Retirement Solutions team, which comprises product development, operations, and sales consulting units. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing product accountability for retirement offerings and platforms.
- Managing retirement platform responsibilities, including product development roadmaps.
- Collaborating with various departments such as Research, Legal, Product Risk, Finance, and Marketing to improve plan and participant outcomes through advisory services.
Key Duties:
As the Senior Vice President of Retirement Solutions, you will:
- Lead and serve as a subject matter expert on all aspects of retirement products, including 401(k), NQDC, and HSAs.
- Work alongside other leaders in Wealth Management Solutions to support departmental and organizational initiatives.
- Provide strategic insights to evolve the LPL Retirement Product roadmap and commercialization strategy.
- Collaborate with product risk teams to enhance ongoing monitoring and resolve specific issues related to plan management.
- Stay informed on regulatory changes and industry trends affecting product offerings and pricing strategies.
- Consult with Marketing and Communication teams to ensure product appeal and manage changes effectively.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience in the financial services retirement sector.
- A profound understanding of retirement products, institutional accounts, and industry regulations.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and design thinking skills.
- Proven leadership experience in making dynamic decisions that enhance product offerings.
- The ability to manage projects in a matrix environment, leveraging strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- A track record of successfully managing and motivating teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will have:
- An MBA or relevant advanced degree.
- Experience in high-pressure environments with driven professionals.
- A background in managing complex cross-team projects and processes.
- Advanced presentation skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint and strong oral and written communication capabilities.
- Strong leadership qualities with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $185,000 to $309,400. Actual base salary will vary based on factors such as relevant skills, prior experience, education, and geographic location.
