Overview:
The Vice President of EPC will spearhead the engineering and construction division. The primary emphasis will be on Business Development, identifying commercial solutions essential for the energy sector.
Accountable for negotiating and managing all engineering and construction agreements related to utility-scale renewable energy projects, including wind and solar initiatives.
Responsible for formulating the contracting strategy for engineering and construction services, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and risk profile.
A senior contributor driving the business's advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive management of all contracts associated with engineering and construction projects.
- Possess strong commercial insight to effectively manage contracts.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to safety standards, budget constraints, and timelines.
- Develop strategies for contracting services.
- Expand and supervise a small team.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in management consultancy.
- Robust commercial background in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC).
- Over 10 years of experience in negotiating and managing contracts with multiple stakeholders and diverse contract structures.
- More than 10 years in engineering design, project management, and construction within the wind and solar sectors.
- Familiarity with IEE, ASCE, and OSHA standards.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is mandatory.
- Experience across various geographical regions in North America.
- Field experience is preferred.
