Position Overview

Salary: $45K-58K/Year DOE

The Lighting Group, LLC stands as a prominent independent agency specializing in lighting and lighting control sales across the Western United States. Our representation spans a wide array of manufacturers in lighting, transportation, sports lighting, and lighting controls. We are committed to delivering exceptional service and support both before and after sales, ensuring the success of our projects and stakeholders.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Customer Care professional to join our Operations Services team. This full-time role is essential in ensuring that all customer inquiries are addressed efficiently, purchase orders are processed accurately, and any issues related to non-project sales are resolved promptly. The ideal candidate will engage with customers in a timely and supportive manner, providing outstanding service to uphold high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond proactively to incoming customer communications via calls and emails regarding pricing, order processing, order status, returns, and other inquiries.
  • Provide timely and cost-effective stock quotes as requested and address all inventory-related questions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of purchase orders, including the correct application of commission rates.
  • Effectively manage and resolve purchase order-related issues.
  • Follow up on all customer inquiries promptly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and the distributor network.
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration with colleagues to create a positive and energized work environment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Experience in the lighting industry is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and take initiative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
