Client Relations Sales Associate

The Automotive Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in driving the sales success of our dealership. You will cultivate relationships with clients, comprehend their requirements, and showcase vehicles that align with their lifestyle and financial considerations. Your charm, product expertise, and negotiation abilities will be essential in finalizing transactions and surpassing sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Welcome and assess potential clients, establishing rapport while identifying their needs and preferences.
- Conduct comprehensive needs evaluations, understanding budget constraints, desired features, and intended vehicle usage.
- Present vehicles, emphasizing features and advantages that correspond with the customer's requirements.
- Respond to inquiries regarding vehicle specifications, performance, and technology.
- Facilitate test drives and demonstrate vehicle functionalities.
- Negotiate sale prices, financing options, and trade-in values (if applicable).
- Secure customer commitment through a purchase agreement.
- Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
- Sales & Inventory Management:
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the dealership's inventory, including features, pricing, and competitive advantages.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and new vehicle launches.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve individual and dealership sales targets.
- Utilize the dealership's CRM system to monitor customer interactions and sales progress.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- May engage in marketing initiatives, such as participating in sales events or showcasing vehicles at community gatherings.
- Assist in preparing vehicles for sale (ensuring cleanliness, proper signage, etc.).
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor throughout the workday.
- Adhere to all dealership policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Exhibits a high "HQ" (Hospitality Quotient) comprising kindness, optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
- Minimum of one year of experience in automotive sales or comparable sales experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- A passion for the automotive industry and a genuine desire to assist customers.
- Excellent product knowledge and the ability to quickly learn about new vehicle features.
- Self-motivated, with a drive to succeed and meet sales targets.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
