Position: Investigational Product Clinical Research Coordinator

The Investigational Product Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) plays a crucial role in ensuring the secure distribution of pharmaceutical supplies to participants, adhering strictly to clinical trial protocols. This position involves managing medication inventory, preparing and delivering medications, and meticulously documenting patient interactions and study data. The IP CRC works closely with other clinical research professionals, emphasizing patient safety, data integrity, and regulatory compliance while ensuring an exceptional patient experience in every interaction.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5:30 PM
Compensation: Hourly rate commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, and 401k matching
*Overtime compensation available for weekend, evening, or early morning shifts as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Professionally represent Flourish Research in interactions with staff, sponsors, Institutional Review Boards (IRBs), patients, and healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct protocol-specific subject visits and procedures with precision.
  • Document subject assessments, observations, and test results in accordance with regulatory and protocol requirements.
  • Support pharmaceutical services by managing, assembling, and distributing medications.
  • Ensure pharmacy inventory, safety, and cleanliness by following established procedures and regulations.
  • Organize and prepare medications for dispensing, including the assembly of intravenous solutions.
  • Monitor and maintain drug temperatures, report investigational product excursions, and ensure medication availability.
  • Complete necessary training and accurately document study-related activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and protocol information in compliance with agreements and HIPAA regulations.
  • Promptly report adverse events and Serious Adverse Events (SAEs) to appropriate supervisors.
  • Manage clinical trial materials and maintain communication with key stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on federal regulations and Flourish Research policies through ongoing training and educational opportunities.
  • Perform all study-related duties efficiently, safely, and in compliance with Flourish Research policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in clinical research.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical research.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Basic understanding of research design, patient care, regulations, and medical terminology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
