We are currently looking for an Investigational Product Clinical Research Coordinator.
The Investigational Product Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) is responsible for the secure distribution of pharmaceutical supplies to study participants, ensuring strict compliance with clinical trial protocols. This position involves overseeing medication inventory, preparing and administering medications, and meticulously documenting patient interactions and study data. The IP CRC works closely with other clinical research personnel, prioritizing patient safety, data accuracy, and adherence to regulatory standards while ensuring an exceptional patient experience at every touchpoint.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5:30 PM
Compensation: Hourly rate commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, and 401k matching
*Overtime compensation available for weekend, evening, or early morning shifts as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Flourish Research with professionalism in interactions with staff, sponsors, Institutional Review Boards (IRBs), patients, and healthcare professionals.
- Conduct subject visits and procedures as outlined in the protocol with precision.
- Document assessments, observations, and test results in accordance with regulatory and protocol standards.
- Support pharmaceutical services by managing, preparing, and distributing medications.
- Ensure pharmacy inventory is maintained, and safety and cleanliness are upheld by following established procedures and regulations.
- Organize and prepare medications for dispensing, including the assembly of intravenous solutions.
- Monitor and maintain drug storage conditions, report any discrepancies, and ensure medication availability.
- Complete necessary training and accurately document all study-related activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and protocol information in line with agreements and HIPAA regulations.
- Promptly report adverse events and Serious Adverse Events (SAEs) to the appropriate supervisors.
- Manage clinical trial materials and maintain effective communication with key stakeholders.
- Stay informed on federal regulations and Flourish Research policies through ongoing training and educational opportunities.
- Perform all study-related tasks efficiently, safely, and in compliance with Flourish Research policies.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in clinical research.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical research.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy environment.
- Basic understanding of research design, patient care, regulations, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
