About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at East Tennessee Children's Hospital. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating various operations to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. This includes facilitating communication between patients and the pharmacy, scheduling patients for pharmacists visits in eligible locations, and coordinating invoice processes for the department of pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain knowledge in all areas of pharmacy administrative functions, including billing, collections, and medical record maintenance.
  • Build, coordinate, and maintain schedules in collaboration with pharmacy leaders to include patient visits with pharmacists.
  • Coordinate interdepartment and external meetings.
  • Record minutes and develop official reports from various meetings.

Requirements: To be successful as an Administrative Coordinator, you will need to have strong organizational skills, a basic understanding of financial concepts, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. You should also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Estimated salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year.
