About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Vice President of Sales to join our Global Management Team at OnLogic. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to our global sales team to achieve exceptional revenue results.
  • Oversee significant EU sales growth by visiting our offices and customers on a regular cadence.
  • Build, develop, and mentor a top-performing sales team, including hiring, training, and coaching sales professionals.
  • Lead deal negotiations with customers and partnerships to secure favorable terms and maximize profitability.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Implement and optimize sales processes and workflows for increased efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead and oversee outbound sales efforts, encompassing direct sales, partnerships, strategic alliances, and channels, to establish a strong market presence and create new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, and Product Management to align sales strategies with overall business goals and market demand.
  • Build and sustain robust relationships with key customers and partners to enhance customer satisfaction and foster the expansion, extension, and growth of business with existing customers.
  • Monitor and research market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to make data-informed sales decisions and stay ahead in the industry.
  • Develop forecasts and set performance targets to track the effectiveness of sales initiatives.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Global Management Team.
About the Team

Our sales team is made up of a range of highly-impactful roles, with opportunities to demonstrate great sales leadership and customer service at every stage of the sales cycle. Our sales roles include:

  • Strategic Account Managers: Focus on winning our largest new opportunities with global technology leaders and year-over-year growth of strategic customer relationships.
  • Business Development Managers: Focus on acquiring new business with strategic new customers and top line revenue growth.
  • Customer Success: Manage customer relationships with integrators and partners. Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Inbound Sales: Field and qualify global technology innovators who are looking for a true consultative partner to provide solutions.
  • Sales Engineering: Experts in assessing customer needs and providing the best possible solution - every time.
  • Sales Operations: Process driven leaders who optimize our workflows and data driven approach in a rapidly scaling organization.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of at least 10 years in a senior leadership role, with a focus on sales management and revenue generation.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing outbound sales approaches, complex sales models, and revenue growth through a solutions sales approach.
  • Expertise in guiding and building high-performing sales teams in a technology or manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to develop and execute global sales strategies that align with specific industry needs and customer requirements.
  • Enthusiasm for building and nurturing strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Understanding of the Edge Computing landscape, including market dynamics, emerging trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Agility mindset, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced and rapidly changing business environment.
  • Promoter of OnLogic's values-based culture of Open, Fair, Independent, and Innovative.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Travel to the North Carolina office two weeks every month.
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
