Job Overview

The core duty of a Safety and Security Specialist is to assist with various administrative functions while ensuring a secure environment. This position demands constant vigilance to avert potential hazards and respond effectively during emergencies. Attention to detail and strict compliance with safety regulations are essential.

  • Conduct regular inspections of the premises to guarantee safety standards are upheld.
  • Record any anomalies such as property damage, safety concerns, or unusual incidents and report them to management.

Compensation is based on experience, starting at $20 per hour.

This is a full-time role.

  • Surveillance: Monitor designated areas to identify and mitigate safety risks.
  • Incident Reporting: Promptly inform relevant personnel of any unsafe conditions or emergencies.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that safety equipment is well-maintained and utilized correctly.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Uphold safety protocols and ensure adherence to fire prevention measures.
  • Team Communication: Maintain effective communication with colleagues and supervisors regarding safety issues.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures.
  • Capacity to remain attentive and alert during shifts.

Physical Demands:

    • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
    • Capability to lift and transport equipment as required.
    • Agility to navigate various environments safely.
