Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Specialist to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Security Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security incidents, coordinating with law enforcement, and performing access management tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and Respond to Security Incidents: Utilize Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) systems to identify and respond to security alerts, alarms, and other events.
  • Coordinate with Law Enforcement: Work with law enforcement agencies to respond to security incidents and ensure a swift and effective resolution.
  • Perform Access Management Tasks: Manage access to secure areas, create badges, assign access, and remove access as needed.
  • Central Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Corporate Security team, answering phone calls, text messages, and emails regarding security and access management.
  • Log and Report Incidents: Accurately document and report on security incidents, including filling out logs, reports, and other documents.
  • Identify and Report Security Risks: Identify and report any broken, damaged, or non-operational security equipment for repair.
  • Visitor Check-in: Conduct visitor check-in at designated locations.
  • Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, answering questions, addressing concerns, and providing support as needed.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training, staff meetings, and other assigned meetings to stay up-to-date on company and professional knowledge.
Requirements
  • Experience with PSIM Systems: Must have experience working with Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) systems.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively coordinate with law enforcement and internal stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Must have a high level of attention to detail to accurately document and report on security incidents.
  • Access Management Experience: Must have experience with access management, including creating badges, assigning access, and removing access.
