The Performance Optimization Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive performance management analysis capability for the Specialized Maersk Ground Freight business unit. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to drive financial and operational improvements through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead the performance management analysis function, including the design and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) and data trends.
- Analyze business and industry data, including financial reports and other key metrics, to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic recommendations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Delivery, and Customer Experience, to develop and implement process improvements and drive customer outcomes.
- Identify and communicate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for performance management initiatives.
- Develop and maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes, and operations, including business process modeling and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and implement strategic recommendations.
- Develop comprehensive reports and presentations based on gathered data and insights to drive business decisions and improve performance.
- Advanced experience with data analytics tools, including Tableau and Power BI.
- Previous experience in the ground freight industry, with a proven track record of driving performance improvements.
- Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders.
- Resourcefulness and creative, out-of-the-box thinking, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Experience testing and mapping various business processes and protocols, with a strong understanding of business operations and process improvement.
- Competitive salary range: $125,000 - $140,000.
