Business Development Opportunity

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our Business Development Team in Virginia.

We are a leading food service company with a strong reputation for providing high-quality services and a commitment to excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a background in sales and a proven track record of success in a business-to-business environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and build relationships with potential customers
  • Aggressively grow an assigned territory
  • Gain strong knowledge of local competition
  • Continuously research new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with operations to develop strategic plans to acquire accounts
  • Build a database of business leads
  • Contribute to the company's mission, vision, and core values
Requirements:
  • Successful sales experience in a business-to-business environment
  • A background in contract foodservice, food/beverage vending, office coffee service, or other closely related field is preferred
  • A highly self-motivated work style, with the ability to work independently
  • A serious, outgoing, and aggressive personality with a competitive spirit
  • Familiarity with the market, and currently residing in or willingness to relocate to the market area
