**Job Summary**
Fortessa Tableware Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Development Coordinator to support the Business Development Manager in gathering product information and resources to implement key account projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Business Development Manager in evaluating new and ongoing programs, including maintaining project schedules and upcoming milestones.
- Utilize project management tools to track and manage sales programs and opportunities, working closely with the Business Development Manager, Product Development, Supply Chain, and CPD Administration teams.
- Communicate Purchase Order quantities and timing to Supply Chain, and work with the Administration team to coordinate program details with Operations and assist with shipping detail documents.
- Manage project-related paperwork, ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored.
- Coordinate samples throughout programs to send to buyers for approval, as well as pre- and post-account Sales meetings.
- Work with the Business Development Manager to foster an environment of ongoing learning and professional development.
Requirements
- 4-year degree in a related field of administration, business, sales, and/or operations, or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales and/or project management administration or operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills, including time-management and multitasking abilities.
- Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to handle confidential information on a daily basis.
Interpersonal Skills
- Excel in displaying a professional demeanor at all times, as expected of a representative of the company.
- Ability to interact effectively with independent supervisors, co-workers, and vendors to provide administrative support services.
- Ability to interact effectively with co-workers to prioritize workflow, request assistance if needed, and assist others in achieving CPD and company goals.
Physical Demands/Work Requirements
- Ability to travel independently within company headquarters and in other communities to attend various meetings or events as needed.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time, frequently reach with hands and arms, and regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to converse verbally and in writing with others regarding Fortessa Tableware Solutions LLC products and services with co-workers, vendors, and customers.
- Ability to work under stress, interruptions, and tight deadlines.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret departmental operations and procedures.
- Ability to make notes from discussions, such as company meetings, phone conversations, etc.
