Job Title: Account Executive, Media and Ad Tech Solutions

Microsoft Advertising is seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction through strategic client relationships and customized solutions.

About the Role

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships with C-level executives and Business and Technical Decision Makers in customers' organizations. You will drive revenue growth through selling Microsoft media and technology to agencies, curators, and retail media networks, platform/tech businesses, Advertising Technology (Ad Tech) and Marketing Technology (Mar Tech) companies, and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships anchored on connections with C-level executives and Business and Technical Decision Makers in customers' organizations.
  • Drive revenue growth through selling Microsoft media and technology to agencies, curators, and retail media networks, platform/tech businesses, Ad Tech and Mar Tech companies, and partners.
  • Develop quality customer plans laying out revenue and customer satisfaction growth strategies.
  • Success is measured by specific success indicators focused on driving adoption, emphasizing customer experience, and optimizing opportunities.
  • Perform role with execution excellence to drive client success and business results.
Requirements
  • 9+ years experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising.
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 8+ years experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising.
  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 5+ years experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising.
  • OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in digital advertising in outbound sales, preferably in programmatic.
  • Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, Search Engine Marketing (SEM) platform, Demand-side Platform (DSP), Data Management Platform (DMP), or other online advertising company.
  • Additional or preferred qualifications include experience making recommendations to mid- to senior-level executives, programmatic platform sales experience, existing relationships with decision-makers at advertising agencies, curators, and networks, quantitative skills, and negotiations ability.
