Position Overview:

Join the RTX Technology Research Center (RTRC) as a Research Engineer specializing in Autonomous Systems. This role is integral to our multidisciplinary team, which has been at the forefront of technological advancements for over 90 years.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Research Engineer, you will be part of the Autonomous Collaborative Systems (ACS) team within the Artificial Intelligence (AI) domain. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting research and developing algorithms for intelligent control, decision-making, and human-machine collaboration.
  • Designing and prototyping computer vision algorithms applicable to various domains, including robotics and manufacturing.
  • Simulating autonomous systems through coding, software development, and real-time demonstrations.
  • Conducting experiments, analyzing data, and documenting findings in technical reports.
  • Leading research initiatives and building partnerships with academic and governmental institutions.
  • Presenting research outcomes through publications and conference presentations.

Qualifications Required:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in autonomous systems, AI, and robotics.
  • Expertise in computer vision and deep learning techniques.
  • Experience with neural 3D representations and large-scale AI model deployment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and CUDA.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with modern software development practices.
  • A Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Aerospace or Computer Science.
