Position SummaryWe are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to become part of a vibrant and multidisciplinary team responsible for the certification of aircraft Electronic Engine Controllers.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop requirements based on ARINC 661 standards and implement them effectively.
- Assist in preparing the technical development plan and standards.
- Execute various phases of formal software development including specification, component/module design, coding, and verification.
- Assess the quality of software components produced by team members.
- Ensure seamless integration of software packages.
- Provide clear technical updates to the team lead and customer contacts.
- Evaluate and consolidate workloads within the team.
- This role offers the flexibility of hybrid (CT) or fully remote work arrangements.
- 3-5 years of experience in embedded software development.
- Familiarity with the ARINC 661 standard and its functionalities.
- Proficient in isolating and troubleshooting hardware, system, and software issues.
- Experience in drafting technical documentation (development plans, specification/design documents, etc.).
- Proficient in C programming language.
- Experience with Requirement Management tools such as DOORS.
- Familiarity with integrated development environments like Eclipse.
- Experience in developing software for microcontrollers in real-time applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with multidisciplinary stakeholders (system engineers, hardware engineers, managers, chief engineers, etc.).
- Ability to work autonomously and find effective solutions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer or software engineering.
