Job Title: Account Executive II

The Account Executive II plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by cultivating and retaining a valuable portfolio of clients for AFS Logistics' freight brokerage business. This role requires exceptional relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, and a strong work ethic to achieve sales goals and provide coaching/mentorship to team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute account sales plans to achieve sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of service and loyalty
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive lead generation and conversion
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage account and pipeline information, ensuring accurate data and timely updates
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution and performance
  • Establish and negotiate transactional and contractual rates with customers
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and profit objectives
  • Participate in special projects and other assigned duties as required
Requirements:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficiency with CRM, TMS, and MS Office applications
  • Willingness to travel to meet essential responsibilities
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business data and reports
Working Conditions:

This role requires prolonged periods of computer work, which may cause eye irritation or muscle strain. Customary work hours are 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. AFS Logistics is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
