Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at the McHenry Row Courtyard by Marriott in Baltimore. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience, and maintaining the highest standards of hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized guest service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process all check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage guest complaints, escalating issues to management as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Adhere to payment, cash handling, and credit policies/procedures, maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.
  • Generate and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping to resolve discrepancies on the room status report, ensuring seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Computer experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
