Front Desk Operations Manager

We are seeking a talented Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at ROOST Baltimore. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and a proven track record of supervising a team. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service to our guests, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
- The position requires the supervision of the day-to-day Front Office operations, including the management of the Front Desk team and the coordination of guest services.
- The candidate must possess strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, lead, train, direct, and have organization skills.
- The Front Desk Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all Front Office policies, standards, and procedures, and for conducting department meetings to communicate a clear and consistent message regarding the Front Office goals.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co-workers, and will be proficient in property management systems and cost controls.
Requirements
- Previous Front Desk supervisory experience.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English (speak, read, write) with guests, management, co-workers, and vendors.
- Ability to accurately compute and manipulate mathematical calculations.
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with a minimum of supervision.
- Computer knowledge in Windows environment as well as proficiency in property management system.
- Experience with cost controls and yield management.
- Ability to work a variety of varying schedules.
- Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public.
