Job Overview:

Sage Hospitality Group is seeking a skilled Hospitality Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for ensuring an efficient operation that produces excellent results for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the front desk team to ensure a high level of service and hospitality is provided to our guests.
  • Train, direct, and coach front desk team members to ensure a quality operation.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints in a quick and efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs, and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues they may have.
  • Operate the PBX equipment, including assisting with outgoing calls, scheduling wake-up calls, and paging guests.
  • Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times, and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school education or equivalent experience.
  • 1 or more years of experience in a related position, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of hotel front office procedures and cash handling practices.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and move around the front desk area.
  • Ability to read and analyze reports, and communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.

Environment:

  • Prolonged standing at an indoor work station under florescent lighting.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
