Front Desk Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at the McHenry Row Courtyard by Marriott in Baltimore. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process all check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle guest complaints, empathizing with guests and providing solutions to resolve issues.
- Adhere to payment, cash handling, and credit policies/procedures.
- Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
- Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- Computer experience preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
