Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining and developing existing and new well construction clients through appropriate proposals and ethical sales methods. This includes increasing new sales volume through direct sales efforts, leading and mentoring a high-performing sales team, and establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop existing and new well construction clients through appropriate proposals and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Increase new sales volume through direct sales efforts, such as collaborating with sales team, cold calling on key clients, preparing quotes and proposals and with follow-ups.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, training, and motivation.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Travel frequently to meet clients, attend industry conferences, and visit field locations.

Requirements

  • Technical degree or Diploma; preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales management, ideally in the oilfield industry.
  • Comprehensive oilfield experience; preferred, or demonstrate a sound understanding of oilfield technical knowledge.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement sales strategies that drive results.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, willing to think on their own, with excellent attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365.
