Job Overview

DirectPath Recruiting Services is seeking a seasoned Financial Planning Manager to join our team. This is a contract position with a high potential for conversion to a direct role within the company.

As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our financial trajectory and aligning it with strategic objectives. Your expertise will guide decision-making, drive efficiency, and ensure financial transparency across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, including annual budgets, mid-year forecasts, and long-range planning.
  • Collaborate with department heads to optimize resource allocation and manage spend effectively.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights to enhance financial performance.
  • Strategic Guidance:
  • Partner with senior leadership to align financial strategies with business goals.
  • Analyze trends, metrics, and KPIs, offering recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards for informed decision-making.
  • Reporting and Communication:
  • Prepare and present month-end management reports, highlighting key insights.
  • Ensure transparency by providing accurate financial information to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate discussions on financial performance and resource allocation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 6-7 years of relevant finance experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and SAP (preferred).
  • CPA and/or MBA (a plus).
