Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending/Department Manager
Role Overview
Oxford Senior Living is in search of a seasoned and dynamic Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending to enhance our esteemed community bank.

This individual will be instrumental in steering our commercial lending division, fostering growth, managing risks, and ensuring the provision of outstanding solutions and services to our clientele.

Equally important will be this individual's capability to nurture and elevate the commercial loan team members to their utmost potential, contributing to our ongoing growth and success.

Responsibilities
Evaluate commercial loan requests for feasibility within lending authority, institutional policies, and guidelines.

Formulate and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that encompasses proactive outreach to current and prospective clients while achieving institutional profitability and growth objectives, all while adhering to risk management standards.

Ensure adherence to internal controls, operational protocols, and risk management policies, including routine audits and internal loan assessments.
Oversee and develop direct reports to optimize productivity, including directing job assignments, coaching, and training.
Assess job performance for department team members and provide recommendations for compensation and advancement.

Assist Oxford Senior Living in sustaining its community partnerships and represent our organization appropriately with clients, civic organizations, and other financial entities.

Actively participate as a voting member on the loan committee.
Additional duties assigned in alignment with Oxford's strategic objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years' experience in commercial lending, with a proven track record of leadership and success. Experience in residential commercial real estate will be advantageous.
Demonstrated proficiency in sound business judgment, credit risk management, loan structuring, and financial analysis.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
Managerial experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related discipline.
