Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Financial Strategies: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Lead Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and performance monitoring to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage Cash Flow and Investments: Develop and implement cash flow planning and investment strategies to maximize returns and minimize risk.
- Ensure Compliance and Governance: Oversee internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices, and maintain a strong control environment.
- Lead and Develop the Finance Team: Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the finance team to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required; Master's degree and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience, ideally in a nonprofit environment.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and perform complex calculations. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Travel and Work Environment: Ability to travel for meetings and training as required. Valid driver's license and ability to meet agency driving standards.
