Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Vice President of Finance to lead our financial operations and strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will be instrumental in aligning our financial goals with the organization's mission and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Financial Strategies: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and performance monitoring to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Manage Cash Flow and Investments: Develop and implement cash flow planning and investment strategies to maximize returns and minimize risk.
  • Ensure Compliance and Governance: Oversee internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices, and maintain a strong control environment.
  • Lead and Develop the Finance Team: Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the finance team to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required; Master's degree and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience, ideally in a nonprofit environment.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and perform complex calculations. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
Additional Requirements
  • Travel and Work Environment: Ability to travel for meetings and training as required. Valid driver's license and ability to meet agency driving standards.
