Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative - Commercial to join our team at Quality Equipment. As a Sales Representative - Commercial, you will be responsible for representing the company for the sale of machinery, parts, and handheld products to customers within our local market area.
Key Responsibilities- Account Management: Serve as Account Manager for key Business to Business (B2B) customer accounts, developing a deep understanding of each customer's business, needs, challenges, and goals, and working to develop solutions through unique combinations of Quality Equipment products and support.
- Prospecting: Prospect for new customers in our local geographic area, targeting customer segments such as Private Landscape Contractors, governmental agencies, construction contractors, and other trades.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain current knowledge of product features and benefits, with a specific focus on commercial mowing equipment and Compact Construction Equipment.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all documents related to sales transactions, including complete goods tickets, purchase orders, retail notes, customer down payments, etc.
- Customer Satisfaction: Follow up with customers to ensure they are satisfied with the item and service provided by the dealership.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the store sales team and supervisor to manage the work schedule and maintain full store coverage.
- Commercial Background: Good understanding of local conditions and knowledge of sale and resale values of machinery.
- Computer Skills: Good computer skills, including proficiency with PC and manual systems.
- Visual Abilities: Ability to work with close attention to detail and manipulate tools and parts.
- Physical Demands: Daily short and long distances, with ability to grasp and manipulate tools and parts.
